With CIP Tool® you create, compose and connect the elements of CIP models in a flexible way. Such models are constructed and modified within a framework of menu driven graphic and text editors. Changes made in one editor are immediately updated in all dependent model parts and views.

 The editor framework permits to build consistent CIP models only and the completeness of CIP models is checked by an automatic verification function. ANSI C code for executable CIP components and for their interfaces is generated in separate generation steps. Entire CIP models can be saved and loaded as portable ASCII files (some 100 K for large systems). Each cluster, process or channel may be exported and imported separately.
